A person’s characteristics and the quality of those characteristics are the makings of what would be considered as someone’s personality. Each individual is born with a personality of their own that is distinctive to them even if they have a similar personality or kindred ship with individuals of their likeness. There are many characteristic’s in an individual that could make up what would be considered or categorized as their personality. Whereas a person who is always light-mannered, smiling, and laughing could be considered an individual with positive personality traits.

Moreover, that is just scratching the surface when it comes to the many different traits and facets of even one individual’s personality. The personality is a very complex pattern of emotions mixed with actions within a human being. Some of the characteristics and traits are genetically bestowed upon us through our DNA makeup, and some are acquired through environmental circumstances. In whatever way a person chooses to analyze or define what a personality is and what it means to them, it is one thing that is for sure, that is that every individual has their own unique and distinct personality of their own.

Now that it has been measured the components that makeup what is known as a personality, Let’s get into the different personality types. 16 personality types have been broken down into categories that are known as high-level descriptions. According to Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, there are two main emotional classifications that a person’s personality traits fall into. Extroversion (E), sensing (S), thinking (T), judgment (J) which is abbreviated ESTJ, and introversion (I), intuition (N), feeling (F), perception (P) which also has an abbreviation of INFP.

Under these two categories of INFP and ESTJ falls four subcategories which it is considered to be the four permanent types of personalities. Moreover, these four permanent types are further broken down within the subcategories to create what is considered the 16 personality traits that are embodied by human beings.
